Description
Muehlenbeckia complexa, commonly known as creeping muehlenbeckia or wire netting bush, is a fast-growing, sprawling, evergreen vine native to New Zealand. It forms dense, low-growing mats or can climb up to 2 meters in height, with thin, wiry stems and small, rounded green leaves. In summer, it produces tiny, inconspicuous white flowers, followed by small black berries. Muehlenbeckia complexa is highly adaptable, thriving in a variety of soil types, including poor and dry soils. It is commonly used for ground cover, erosion control, and in native gardens due to its resilience, fast growth, and ability to stabilize soil.
